　　物價上升的原因是需求的增加。The cause of (reason for) higher prices was an increase in demand.

　　或: Because the demand has increased, the prices are higher. 或: An increase in demand results in higher prices.

　　或: The demand has increased. As a result, the prices are higher. 或: If there is an increase in demand, then prices rise.
